The tour is excellent, mixing photos, videos and interactive maps. Dan and the expert (Simon) were very engaging and lead a detailed guide through the battle of the Somme. This was a well presented and planned tour, that combined modern day drone footage with archival film and recordings to explain what happened in a particular spot on the battlefield. The drone footage was a great help in being able to link different parts of the battlefield and to help understand the impact of the terrain and opposing armies perspective. As close to being there as possible.
