Katja Hoyer is a German-British historian, journalist and broadcaster. She is the author of the international bestsellers Beyond the Wall and Blood and Iron. Her latest book is Weimar: Life on the Edge of Catastrophe.
Katja is a regular commentator on German history and current affairs for British, American and German newspapers and has hosted programmes for the BBC and others. A Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, she was born in Germany and now lives in the UK.
Dr Christopher Dillon is a Senior Lecturer in Modern German History at King’s College London. He has published widely on the history of Weimar and Nazi Germany, with a focus on the entanglement of political culture, gender, and violence.
Christopher has 17 years’ experience teaching at London universities and has contributed to numerous television documentaries, radio programmes, and podcasts. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
