Monash, believed by some Australians to be the man that changed the course of the War. But did he? His crowning glory was the attack at Le Hamel on 4 July 1918. He predicted it would be over, done and dusted in 90 minutes. He was three minutes out. The battle was over, done and dusted in 93 minutes. It was an outstanding achievement, applauded by the King and Field Marshal Haig. And, there is no getting away from it, it was an astounding achievement.
