This tour simply is the epitome of all that is excellent in such a presentation. All technologies used to best ever effect. Central to this excellence also is Romaine, his passion and enthusiasm drives the story forward. Seldom have I been so animated on a tour. Thank You.
Excellent ….the reports from the combatants and the drone new/old pictures really helped to bring it all to life….Romain was fantastic in his recounting of the story he is a class act !
The Battle of Carentan is often given little focus in the narrative of the D Day Landings and the Battle for Normandy. Brilliant guide, Romain Breget makes up for that with a excellent presentation of why the Battle of Carentan was important using his excellent knowledge, contemporary videos and archival photos to highlight the desperate struggle for this important town. Oral testimony is linked with great drone footage to provide a complete understanding of how this battle ensued and was brought to a successful conclusion by the men of the 101st Airborne. This video is a must for all WWII students. Well done, Battle Guides.
Great talk. Very detailed. Gives a good impression on how the lie of the land affected events.
Enjoyable tour by Romain delivered fluently in a second language. Excellent use of muti AV assets; drone, aerial and contemporary footage and pictures.
